Boston Mill Field Trip Valley Viewfinders took the second field trip of the summer to Boston Mill in Shedd, Oregon on Saturday July 23rd. The Boston Mill is the last remaining pioneer-era mill in the Willamette Valley, dating back to the 1850's. You can read more about the mill at http://www.bostonmill.org. By 8:30 AM our group was at the mill, eagerly posing for a group picture. What a great looking bunch!
We created images of the mill reflecting in the millpond ...
and many images of the old equipment in the mill's interior ...
Some of us will go to any length (or height) to be creative ...
