Valley Viewfinders Camera Club

Welcome to our Website!

The Valley Viewfinders Camera Club, located in Albany, Oregon, supports image sharing, friendly competition and skill improvements at all levels of photography, in a socially relaxed atmosphere.

Our membership consists of people from all walks of life who possess photography skills from amateur to semi-professional. Members use digital and film cameras, ranging from 35mm point-and-shoot to medium and large format.

Club members share a love of photography, the willingness to share their images and experiences with others, and a desire to become better photographers.

The club is associated with the Columbia Council of Camera Clubs (4Cs) and the Photographic Society of America (PSA), affording members the opportunity to participate in structured competitions, seminars, workshops, and other activities.

How To Join
Joining the club is easy! Come to a meeting, talk to fellow photographers, see what we do, then decide if you want to join. Membership privileges include the opportunity to enter your prints and slides into competitions, being included in the club email list so you are notified of club activities, voting in club elections, inclusion in field trips, an invitation to include your work in club exhibits, and more! Annual dues are $20.00 for an individual, or $25.00 for a family.

Meeting Information
Club meetings are held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the second and fourth Thursdays during September through June at the Albany Public Library. The library is located at 1390 Waverly Drive SE in Albany, Oregon. Click here for a driving map.

The first meeting of each month is devoted to print and slide competitions. During the second meeting we participate in programs designed to stimulate our creativity and help us learn new and better photographic techniques.
